While my cousin and I were exploring the city, we found a food market. The vibe was incredible and so was the weather. There were lots of food stands and other activities like photo booths and huge bubble makers. I enjoyed sitting down and watching the huge bubbles flying by. And of course, eating some churros with nutella, yum…

Even the toilets were colourful as you can see in the picture above. Fun fact: every time someone got out of a toilet, a cleaner went inside to ‘clean’ the toilet, aka spray some perfume. At least the toilets smelled fresh. ;)

It’s great to find fun new places while exploring. I’ve lived in this city for quite some time now, but I hadn’t noticed these colourful houses before.

Apparantly, there was a Cinderella project going on in the city. At midnight, guys could pick a pair of shoes and take it to a girl they liked, hoping the shoes would fit…

During the summer, there were a lot of activities in the open air. My cousin and I decided to explore the city and saw a huge ferris wheel standing close to the water. While we were talking, we came to the conclusion that it had been a while since either of us had been on a ferris wheel. We figured we would have an incredible view from the ferris wheel and bought a ticket. Here are some pictures, so you can join us for the ride.

Last week I went to the Food Truck Festival with this cute couple. The girl in the pictures is one of my sweet friends, definitely an angel. Her hospitality is incredible and she’s always the first to ask how my family is doing. I took some pictures of her and her boyfriend. Although I’ve known them both individually for a while now, it was great to hang out with both of them and see them interact as a couple. They’re the cutest together and very considerate of each other. By the way, don’t you love her dress?
